To begin, complete the Certification Inquiry Form through our Contact or Account sign in
Page. This allows our team to confirm your desired course, industry type, and any special requirements (individual, company, or fleet-level training).
Once your inquiry is reviewed, an NCTC representative will reach out to finalize enrollment and confirm next steps.
After approval, NCTC will send you a personalized email containing your unique course access code, instructions, and applicable terms.
Each access code is assigned to a specific participant and linked to that individual’s record for tracking coursework and results.
For organizations, multiple codes can be issued for teams or departments, each tracked separately for certification records.
Use your access code on the NCTC website to unlock the course. Study through each module, review the reference materials, and complete all testing sections.
After submission, your work is securely stored for NCTC evaluation. Our review team ensures all coursework meets internal training standards and national safety code alignment before approval.
If any corrections or re-tests are needed, NCTC will notify you directly.
Once your materials have been reviewed and approved, NCTC will issue your official certificate number and digital certificate.
Certificates include your name, course title, date, and verification number for employer or client documentation.
The certificate PDF will be sent to your registered email and available for download from the NCTC platform.
All credentials are verified and recorded by the National Certification and Training Council.
Certified technicians may also order custom recognition items through NCTC, including:
These items are available after certification and can be ordered directly through your representative or by contacting NCTC Support.
